Document checklists
Tourist visa — document checklist
- Passport valid at least 6 months beyond the intended stay, with at least 2 blank pages (e-Visa route: an ordinary passport valid at least 60 days beyond the visa's duration of stay).
- Completed and signed visa application form (sticker-visa route).
- Two recent biometric photographs, white background, taken within the last 6 months.
- Flight tickets.
- Hotel/accommodation booking covering the full stay, or a host invitation letter.
- Last 6 months' personal bank statements (original or bank-attested) showing sufficient funds.
- Income Tax Returns (ITR) / Form 16 for the last 2-3 years.
- Employment proof (leave letter and recent salary slips) or, for the self-employed, business registration / GST proof.
- Travel/medical insurance covering the trip (commonly required).
- Cover letter stating the purpose and dates of travel.
- e-Visa route only: the valid Schengen, USA, UK or Ireland visa or residence permit (valid on the date of entry into Türkiye) plus a return/onward ticket.
Business visa — document checklist
- Completed Türkiye visa application form, signed
- Original passport valid at least 6 months beyond the intended stay, issued within the last 10 years, with at least two blank pages
- Two recent biometric photographs on a white background (5x5 cm)
- Covering letter from your Indian employer/company on letterhead — traveller's name and designation, purpose and dates of travel, and who bears the trip expenses
- Invitation letter from the Turkish host company on its letterhead — purpose and duration of the visit, signed and sealed, with the signatory's name and designation
- Company proof: registration certificate / Memorandum & Articles of Association / Import-Export Code, as applicable
- Flight tickets and hotel bookings for the period of stay
- Travel medical insurance covering the entire trip in Türkiye
- Personal bank statements for the last 6 months and Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years (recent salary slips if salaried)
- e-Visa route only: the valid Schengen/US/UK/Ireland visa or residence permit, carried when travelling
