Brazil visa fees & timelines
| Visa type | Government fees | Our fee | Processing | Validity | Entries | Max stay |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tourist visa | Visitor visa (VIVIS) application fee β tourism βΉ9,600Official 'Regular' VIVIS fee from the Embassy of Brazil in New Delhi fee page (gov.br), last updated 22 May 2026. India has no separate reciprocity row (unlike Algeria, Australia, China, UK, USA, which carry higher special rates), so Indian nationals pay the standard Regular VIVIS rate of INR 9,600.00. Reciprocity-based fixed INR amount, non-refundable even if refused. Payment ONLY by identified bank transfer to the embassy's designated RBL Bank account (applicant's own name must appear as originator on the embassy's bank statement). In-person application via the official e-consular portal; there is no tourist e-visa for Indians. | βΉ5,000 + 18% GST = βΉ5,900 | Up to 10β15 business days (New Delhi embassy; longer in high demand) | Up to 10 years, multiple-entry | β | Up to 90 days for tourism per entry; extendable to 180 days per 12 months |
| Business visa | Business Visa (VIVIS) consular fee β in-person / e-consular route βΉ9,600CONFIRMED against the official Brazilian Embassy New Delhi fee schedule (gov.br, updated 22 May 2026), which lists 'Visitor Visa (VIVIS) β Regular = INR 9,600.00'. Brazil classifies Indian business travel (meetings, fairs, contract signing, audits/consultancy, technical assistance, up to 90 days) under the Visitor Visa (VIVIS), not a VITEM. India is NOT among the reciprocity-exception nationalities (USA INR 22,200 / Australia INR 14,400 / China INR 13,800 / Algeria INR 10,200), so it pays the 'Regular' rate. Paid in INR by identified bank transfer to the embassy's RBL Bank account (the applicant's own name must appear on the transfer). This is the fee for the standard in-person / e-consular application. It is NOT the same as the online 'business e-visa', which is a separate, cheaper USD-denominated fee β see caveat. | βΉ5,000 + 18% GST = βΉ5,900 | Up to 10-15 business days (consular) | Multiple-entry, up to 10 years | β | Up to 90 days per visit (max 180 days in any 12 months) |
Government and VFS fees are paid directly to the authorities in the local currency shown and are subject to change at the discretion of the concerned consulate or embassy; our service fee is in INR and includes appointment booking. No consultant can guarantee a visa β the decision rests with the embassy or consulate.
