Spain visa fees & timelines
| Visa type | Government fees | Our fee | Processing | Validity | Entries | Max stay |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tourist visa | Schengen short-stay visa fee β¬90Adult; β¬45 for children 6β12, free under 6. Same across all Schengen countries. | βΉ7,500 + 18% GST = βΉ8,850 | Usually about 15 days, up to 45 in busy periods | Single, double or multiple entry as set by the consulate; valid across all 29 Schengen countries | β | Up to 90 days within any 180-day period |
| Business visa | Schengen short-stay visa fee β¬90Adult; β¬45 for children 6β12, free under 6. Same across all Schengen countries. | βΉ7,500 + 18% GST = βΉ8,850 | Usually about 15 days, up to 45 in busy periods | Set by the consulate; multiple-entry visas may be valid 1β5 years | β | Up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the Schengen area |
| Student visa | Student (national long-stay Type D) visa consular fee βΉ9,599Fixed rupee consular fee for Indian citizens applying for any national (long-stay Type D) visa, including students. Confirmed on Spain's official India application partner (BLS International): 'National Visa fees for Indian Citizens of INR 9599 are only payable via cash or online.' Underlying statutory national-visa fee is EUR 80; India pays this set INR amount and is not on the reciprocity list, so the standard rate applies. | βΉ25,000 + 18% GST = βΉ29,500 | Legal decision period of 1 month from the day after submission (can be extended) | Covers the full stay if 6 months or less; issued for 1 year if over 6 months (then TIE) | β | Duration of the study programme (over 90 days) |
| Dependent visa | National (long-stay Type D) visa fee βΉ9,599Consular/government fee for the family reunification (dependent) national visa, charged in rupees at the BLS centre. This is BLS International's rupee-denominated figure for the standard EUR 80 national long-stay visa fee. Same amount for adults and minors. | βΉ25,000 + 18% GST = βΉ29,500 | The consulate normally decides within about 2 months of a complete submission; this follows the separate wait for the sponsor's reunification permit in Spain, which typically takes several months. | Tied to the sponsor's permit: the entry visa is valid 90 days, and the TIE residence card issued in Spain runs in line with the sponsor's authorisation. | Multiple | Long-stay residence in Spain, renewable together with the sponsor's permit for as long as the family relationship and conditions hold. |
Government and VFS fees are paid directly to the authorities in the local currency shown and are subject to change at the discretion of the concerned consulate or embassy; our service fee is in INR and includes appointment booking. No consultant can guarantee a visa β the decision rests with the embassy or consulate.
