No fixed timeline, and the Migration Agency does not commit to one. A complete, well-documented worker- or student-family case is often decided within a few months, but partner and other family-tie applications commonly take much longer β€” frequently well over a year β€” depending on the category, how complete the file is and the Agency's current queues. Tied to the sponsor's permit. Matched to the family member's permit in Sweden and never beyond your passport's validity; for a settled sponsor, up to two years at a time, renewable. Multiple For the full length of the permit granted; renewable, and with continued family ties it can lead toward permanent residence and eventually citizenship.

Government and VFS fees are paid directly to the authorities in the local currency shown and are subject to change at the discretion of the concerned consulate or embassy; our service fee is in INR and includes appointment booking. No consultant can guarantee a visa β€” the decision rests with the embassy or consulate.
