Estonia tourist visa
Estonia is the quiet way into the Schengen area many Indian travellers overlook. Its tourist visa is a Type C short-stay (uniform) visa, and the sticker in your passport opens all of Schengen for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. You apply to Estonia when it is your main destination the country where you'll spend the most days or, if your days split evenly, the Schengen state you enter first. India's decisions are handled by the Embassy of Estonia in New Delhi.
Everything runs through VFS Global, the only accredited centre for Estonia, present in eight cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune. You fill the form on Estonia's online portal, print it and sign it; VFS lodges the file and passes it to the Embassy in New Delhi, where the consulate takes the decision. A complete application is usually decided in about 15 days, though it can run to 45 calendar days. The fee is the standard Schengen EUR 90 (EUR 45 for children aged 6-12), plus VFS service charges.

Frequently asked questions
Do you guarantee the visa?
No. The decision rests solely with the Embassy of Estonia and the Schengen consulate, and no consultant can promise an outcome. What we can do is read your profile honestly and build the strongest, best-documented application possible. Over the last 2-3 years our applications have seen a 97% success rate.
Which country should I apply to if I'm visiting several Schengen countries?
Apply to Estonia when it is your main destination the place you'll spend the most days. If your days are split evenly, apply to the Schengen state you enter first. And if Estonia is only a brief stop on the route, another country's mission is likely the right one.
How long does the Estonia tourist visa take?
Roughly 15 days from the day a complete application is lodged. If the consulate wants a closer look it can stretch to 45 calendar days, so lodge at least 15 days before you travel you may apply up to six months ahead.
Where do I submit the application in India?
At VFS Global, the only accredited centre for Estonia, with offices in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune. You attend in person to give fingerprints and a photo, and VFS forwards the file to the Embassy of Estonia in New Delhi.
